My first whitepaper

With this post I am making my first whitepaper publicly available.
I wrote this paper in my 3rd semester at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg
as part of the module Software Engineering II.

Topic:
"Interview as a requirements engineering technique"

Abstract:
Stakeholders are not software engineers. While
this is natural, it is a reason for the high rate of failure
in modern software development. Stakeholders tend to see
everything from a ”business” perspective, which can cause big
problems when considering software development. Gathering
information from stakeholders is a challenge, especially for in-
experienced developers. This Paper will address the suitability
of an interview as a technique for requirements engineering
considering different stakeholder types and software develop-
ment processes.
